The pool enclosures are, by definition, submitted to a humid and corrosive environment. The solidity of the materials therefore contributes to the longevity of the aluminium retractable structures. Whereas some competitors have opted to reduce prices by using components of a lesser quality in view of the financial crisis, Pool Cover has gone down the opposite path: our company has increased the resistance standards (to snow, in particular) of its components, from the simple bolt to the large aluminium rafters. Therefore, by increasing its own quality standards, Pool Cover maximises its reliability by reducing risks of maintenance under guarantee, which incidentally add to the costs of the company. The guarantee has therefore been extended to 15 years. As our principal concern continues to be excellence.
This robustness allows significant work to take place and, as a result, work on the larger widths of the enclosures. The Town of Walcourt has also entrusted Pool Cover to cover its communal pool. This self-supporting and retractable structure measures 33 m in length and 19 in width; it has no floor rail but does have a remote control system of autonomous motors which operate in silence by generating energy by means of solar sensors. A global first!
